Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation gives millions in grants

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $3 million in grants to nonprofits across the country.

$2 million of that went to 171 Virginia nonprofits.

Some the recipients in the 29News viewing area include the Rivanna Conservation Alliance and the Veterans Collaborative.

“Dominion Energy is a public service company, and that means we care about our business. But we also care about the community and we’re always looking for ways to make a positive impact and we can’t think of a better way to make a positive impact than to partner with nonprofits on the front lines,” said Dominion Media Relations, Cherise Newsome.
