The City of Kingman is inviting residents to share their perspectives by participating in the National Community Survey (The NCS), conducted in partnership with the National Research Center at Polco. This comprehensive survey is designed to gather community input on government services and assess Kingman’s overall quality of life. Feedback from the survey will directly inform the City’s strategic planning efforts, shaping the community’s future direction.
A few weeks ago, the City distributed surveys to randomly selected households to gather valuable feedback. Now, that same survey is being made available to all residents.
“We value the voices of our residents and are excited to receive input from our community to help guide our strategic planning process,” said City Manager Tim Walsh. “This survey will provide us with a solid foundation to evaluate our services and guide future improvements.”
The survey will explore key topics, including the local economy, transportation, public safety, community engagement, environmental sustainability, and overall livability. Results will help identify Kingman’s strengths, spotlight areas for growth, and prioritize initiatives that matter most to residents. Additionally, the survey allows Kingman to benchmark its performance against other cities across the nation.
Residents aged 18 and older are encouraged to participate by visiting polco.us/Kingman2024.
Participation requires registration with a name and zip code, but responses will remain anonymous, and personal information will be securely managed by Polco.
“We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete the survey,” said City Manager Walsh. “The more feedback we receive, the better equipped we’ll be to make data-driven decisions that benefit the entire community. This is your chance to shape the future of Kingman.”
The survey will officially open on Wednesday, November 27th, and will close on December 11th. For questions or additional information, please contact the City of Kingman at (928) 753-8120.
