
Colorado Gives Day is approaching
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – “It’s our favorite time of year—where all of us can come together to support the causes we care about most,” the Colorado Gives Foundation said.
Colorado Gives Day is the biggest 24-hour giving movement in the state and one of the most successful giving days in the nation, according to the Colorado Gives Foundation.
Colorado Gives Day is on December 10. It is a day where people in the local community and state donate to a non-profit of their choice.
“Since launching Colorado Gives Day in 2010, Coloradans have donated $469 million for thousands of nonprofits statewide,” the Colorado Gives Foundation said. Last year Coloradans raised a total of $54.2 million.
All of the non-profits on the website are 501(c)(3) organizations. There are 3,278 organizations enrolled in the event.
