CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) – The city of Carbondale will host a Giving Tuesday event to help support area non-profit organizations.
Giving Tuesday is held on December 3, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

“The City of Carbondale is proud to recognize the dedicated work of our not-for-profit organizations that bring value to our community. Their efforts in sharing resources, nurturing creativity and empowering residents are what helps to build a stronger and resilient Carbondale,” Interim City Manager and Police Chief Stan Reno said in a news release. “This holiday season, we encourage everyone to participate in Giving Tuesday on December 3. It is an opportunity to give back to those organizations that uplift our community in countless ways. Your support helps Carbondale continue to grow as a place of compassion, creativity and strength.”
