Knight Foundation gives more than $207,000 in grants to six nonprofits

Six local nonprofits will receive a total of more than $207,390 in grants from the 2024 Knight Foundation Fund by way of the Community Foundation of North Florida.

Every year, the James L. Knight Foundation supports local organizations through its endowed fund at the Community Foundation. The goal is to impact downtown Tallahassee and bordering communities, along with promote economic opportunities and retain talent.

“The Knight Foundation Fund allows us to support local organizations that are committed to making a tangible difference in our community,” said Katrina Rolle, president and CEO of the Fund, in a statement.

“These projects reflect a shared vision of a more vibrant, inclusive, and connected Tallahassee, and we are excited to see how these initiatives will bring that vision to life.”
