100 Women Who Care in the MOV surpass $75,000

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The 100 Women Who Care in the MOV held their quarterly meeting.

This was the two-year anniversary of the beginning of the meetings.

Before the meeting, the ladies were able to engage in social hour mingling among each other.

During the meeting, two presentations were given, one by the O’Neill Center and one by the Gabriel Project.

Each woman in attendance, including those who did not attend, donated $100, which raised around $5,800.

“We listened to 2 local nonprofits, the O’neill Senior Center from Marietta and the Gabriel Project based in Parkersburg. Both groups presented on what impact they have in the Mid Ohio Valley, and all of our ladies in attendance donated $100, and some that were not able to make it also contributed over about $5,800 last night to go to those winning organizations.” said Jessica Huffman, Founder of 100 Women Who Care MOV.

The mission of the group is to help out local non-profits.

To make this night even more special, the 100 Women Who Care in the MOV surpassed $75,000 of total funds raised!
