Rotary Do Days helps dozens of Tri-State non-profit organizations

NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) – You can give back to the community this weekend.

Through Saturday, Oct. 26, hundreds of volunteers will come together as part of Rotary Do Days.

The three-day service event helps 37 non-profits in the Tri-State like Dress for Success, the YMCA, and the Brighton Center.

The effort requires more than 600 volunteers.

This is the Rotary Club of Cincinnati’s third year putting on the event which includes a meal packing event to benefit UC’s Food is Medicine Program.

Volunteers are able to choose their service project from the Rotary Club’s website, and can pick from volunteer opportunities such as meal packing, gardening, tutoring, and sorting clothes for people in need.

“Our motto is service above self. We were founded in 1910 and we’ve been giving back for a long time. We’re proud to make Cincinnati a better place to live and work and play,” said Rotary Club of Cincinnati Executive Director Sara Pattison.

Volunteers are still needed for some of the projects. You can view what’s still available to help with here.
